What is VYNE Life?
We are a plant-based and nutritionally designed meal delivery and subscription service based in New York. All of our meals are made fresh and prepared for you so all you have to do is order them (at least 5 days in advance of your delivery) and then either heat-and-eat or enjoy them cold.
How does VYNE Life work?
You can order our meals off our menu as you like, or as a set goal-focused meal plan that will recur on a weekly basis. All of our meals are prepared fresh and delivered to your home, office, or partnering gym. We deliver twice a week, and only require that you order 5 days in advance to ensure the freshest quality ingredients and meals.
How do I order?
All of our meals and meal plans must be ordered online through our website. To start an order, either choose whether you’d like to order a la carte off our menu or with a meal plan. If ordering a meal plan, you will choose the plan that fits your needs and then enter your personal demographic information and number of meals per week you’d like to receive. If ordering a la carte off our menu, simply choose the meals you’d like and add them to your cart. To switch between our beginning of week and midweek menu items, choose the delivery date to the top right of the menu. Your menu items will then reflect the appropriate delivery date in your carte per item upon checkout.
What types of programs do you offer?
We have both a la carte ordering and meal plan programs. Our meal plans are set for specific goals and/or nutritional focuses. Our meal plans recur on a weekly basis and you can choose how many meals per week and days per week you would like. To order a meal plan, you can choose which plan best fits your lifestyle and needs, and then enter your personal demographic information and meal choices per day throughout the week. Our team will then create a plan for you that fits your personal needs and recurs on a weekly basis - you can pause or cancel your plan at any time during or after your first week of delivery before the Wednesday night at midnight EST deadline for changes.
What am I committing to with an order?
There is no long-term commitment to our program when you place an order. For an a la carte order, you are placing a one-time order that will not recur. For a meal plan, you are only committed to your first week of meals. If you need to pause or cancel your first week, you can do so online before Wednesday night at midnight EST the week prior to your delivery. We will then apply a credit automatically to your account for your next order. After your first week of your meal plan, you can pause or cancel your meal plan at any time, as long as it is done before Wednesday night at midnight EST the week before your delivery you wish you pause and/or cancel. Your current week of meals will not be affected by a pause or cancellation placed, only pauses or cancellations done prior to the Wednesday at midnight deadline EST will take into account for the upcoming week’s delivery.
What days do you deliver?
We have two deliveries per week, early and midweek. Depending on your delivery location and type, your order will come either on Sunday or Monday for early week delivery and then Wednesday or Thursday for midweek delivery. You will choose your delivery time/options in the checkout process based on your location and delivery type.
What are the deadlines for ordering and making changes to my order?
In order to source the freshest ingredients for your made-to-order meals, we ask that you order 5 days in advance of your delivery. Because we only deliver twice a week, we therefore have two deadlines on our website to order - Wednesday and Saturday by midnight EST for beginning of week and midweek delivery respectively. All meal plans, however, must be ordered or adjusted before Wednesday at midnight EST for the upcoming week. Billing for meal plans goes through on Thursday morning.
What should I expect on a VYNE Life meal plan?
When subscribed to a meal plan, you can either pick your own meals, or have them picked for you by our trained nutritionists according to your guidelines. After that you will be able to receive your meals twice a week either by picking it up from your local gym, or by getting it delivered directly to your home.
What is the difference between the different meal plans?
We have two different meal plan options for you to choose from, one targeted more towards weight-loss and one for general healthy plant-based living.
The Plant-Powered Refuel Program- Our Plant-Powered Refuel Program is perfect for the person looking to shed fat and refuel their body on a plant-based diet.
The Plant-Performance Program- Our Plant-Performance Program is the best plan for fueling your body with pure and simple plant-based nutrition. This is our original meal plan and perfect for the individual looking to fuel and active and healthy plant-based lifestyle.
Where do you source your food?
We make sure to source the highest-quality and freshest ingredients possible for our meals, and as locally sourced to our facilities as possible. All of our beef is 100% grass-fed, our poultry and pork hormone and antibiotic free and our fish wild caught.
Can I make a change or adjustment to an upcoming order?
In order to source the best ingredients for our meals, we ask you to order 5 days in advance of your delivery. Therefore, it is difficult for us to accommodate any last-minute changes to orders that are already placed. In the case that you’d like to make an adjustment to an upcoming order that is already placed, you must alert customer service at firstname.lastname@example.org at least 72 hours prior to your delivery. If you have a meal plan, and it is prior to the Wednesday at midnight EST deadline the week prior to your delivery you’d like to adjust, you can make changes to your order in your account (please see instructions on how to do so below in the Meal Plan section).
How do I make changes to my upcoming order?
You can adjust your meal plan and meal selections in your account any time before Wednesday at midnight EST the week prior to the delivery week you’d like to adjust. To adjust your meal plan, view your account and then click on “Meal Plans,” Then choose the meal plan you’d like to adjust and either change your meal selections or pause your week. If you need to make delivery changes to your order, please email email@example.com, as any delivery changes you make in your account will not affect an active meal plan.
I have a meal plan; how do I change my delivery information?
If you have an active meal plan, you cannot make adjustments to your delivery information online yourself. In order to do so, you need to email firstname.lastname@example.org and ask customer service to make adjustments to your delivery information for you. If you are switching from delivery to a pick-up location to home delivery and vice versa, you must cancel your current meal plan and place an order for a new meal plan to the desired delivery option.
How can I make changes to my meal plan meal choices each week?
You can adjust your meal selections for your meal plan in your account any time before Wednesday at midnight the week prior to the delivery week you’d like to adjust. You will also get an email each week on Tuesday reminding you to do so. To adjust your meal plan, view your account and then click on “My Meal Plans,” Then choose the upcoming week and “change meals” - You will then be brought to our meal options for your plan to adjust your upcoming week’s menu.
What is the deadline to make changes to my meal plan?
All changes for the upcoming weeks delivery must be done before Wednesday night at midnight EST. Your billing for your next week’s meals will go through on Thursday morning 12:01AM.
How do I cancel my meal plan?
You can cancel your meal plan at any time before Wednesday at midnight the week prior to the week that you’d like to cancel for. In order to cancel your plan, please login to your account, and view your meal plan under the “my meal plans” section. From there, click on the meal plan you’d like to cancel and then like on the options for that plan and choose “cancel”.
How do I skip a week of my plan?
You can pause your upcoming full or partial week in your account any time before Wednesday at midnight EST the week prior to that you’d like to pause. To pause a week, login to your account and then click on “Meal Plans,” Then choose the week you’d like to adjust and choose the type of pause you’d like to make.
Can I change to a new meal plan type?
If you would like to change your meal plan type, our customer service team can help you do so. Please write an email to email@example.com, and they will help adjust your plan for you.
How do I reactivate my old subscription?
Unfortunately, at this time, we are unable to reactivate an old meal plan, in order to purchase a new meal plan, you can go through the meal planning process as you originally did. Your profile and information will save so you don’t have to re-enter everything - you can easily make adjustments if you need to - and can easily repurchase a new plan.
Do I have to start a meal plan?
If you do not want to start a recurring order every week and simply order off our menu a la carte, you can do so by visiting your menu and adding meals to your cart (also visit “How do I order?”). Therefore, you will only have a 1-time order versus a recurring weekly plan.
Where do you deliver to?
We deliver nationwide. Depending on your location, our delivery options change from in-home hand delivery, gym delivery, to FedEx. Simply begin an order with your address and zip code and you will be provided with your available delivery options upon checkout.
Do I need to be home to receive my meals?
You do not need to be home to receive your home delivery, you can leave instruction in your delivery notes on where to leave your food if you are not there. However, if we deliver within the allocated delivery window, and you are okay with us leaving your bag, we are not responsible for your bag after it is left. If you are having your bag delivered to your gym, it will be left safely in your gyms’ VYNE Life fridge.
What days of the week do you deliver?
We deliver twice a week, in the beginning of the week and then again midweek. Depending on your delivery area, these deliveries will come on Sunday/Monday or Wednesday/Thursday. Specific delivery times vary by gym, if you need an approximate delivery time for your gym, please feel free to reach out to us with any questions.
What if I am not a member of a gym, can I still get my delivery there?
Yes, many of our gyms allow non-members to pick up there. If a gym is private it will say so as you pick it as your designated delivery location in which case, you should not do so if you are not a member of that location. Please make sure to reach out to a gym you are not a member or check their website for operating hours in case they are closed before you go to pick up your meals.
What is the price of shipping?
Our pricing varies based on your area of delivery. For gym delivery the delivery fee is waived, however we do charge a minimal delivery fee for our home delivery as we work with great partners to assure safe delivery to your home. The price of shipping will show for your specific delivery location upon checkout.
What time of day do you deliver?
Depending on your delivery location and type we either deliver at night or early in the morning. Your delivery options and times will show upon checkout.
Do you deliver nationwide?
Yes! We deliver everywhere in the Continental United States.
How much are your meals?
Our meals vary based on the size of the meal -- all of the prices are listed on our menu under each item. Breakfasts typically start at $8.95, while our main entrees start at $12.95 and go up to $13.95 for most large sizes.
Are your meals refundable?
Refunds will not be issued once a delivery has already begun. If you need to change the delivery of an order, we require 72-hours advanced notice of your delivery, and at which time your delivery will be paused and credited (not refunded) back to your account. You can then re-order at any time on your own - our credits do not expire and can be used at any time in the future.
What is the difference between a credit and a refund?
A credit is money put back into your VYNE Life account to be used on a future order while a refund is money refunded back to your credit card. We do not typically refund your bank account on orders, but rather provide credit toward your VYNE Life account. If you require a refund for a specific scenario, we will of course work with you to assure you are accommodated - please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance.
When am I billed for my meal plan?
Meal plans are billed for the upcoming week on Thursday morning 12:01AM EST after the Wednesday night at midnight deadline for meal plan adjustments.
NUTRITION AND MEALS
What types of ingredients are excluded from the meals?
All of our meals are 100% plant-based and naturally free of gluten, dairy, soy, or any artificial sweeteners or ingredients.
Will I be getting the protein and nutrients I need on a plant-based diet?
Absolutely. Our chefs ensure that each recipe is designed to include all the nutrients and protein your body needs, while also tasting delicious. Fortunately, plants include many of the nutrients and ingredients your body needs to naturally thrive - such as calcium, magnesium, fiber, vitamin C, vitamin D, potassium, and essential fatty acids. All of our VYNE meals are packed with whole-food based protein sources that are easy for your body to break down and turn into energy. Fun fact – many green algae have twice as much protein per gram as chicken does!
Are my meals ever frozen?
Your meals, and all of the ingredients that go into them, are never frozen. We make sure to source, real and fresh ingredients for each and every one of our meals.
How many calories are in a meal?
VYNE meals vary in calorie content and generally range from 200 to 500 calories per serving. These calories come from unprocessed, fresh, and nutritious ingredients – 100% of the time. Detailed nutrition information is available for every menu item, so you can pick and choose those that fit your lifestyle!
How long do the meals stay fresh?
Our meals stay fresh for between three to five days, depending on the meal. We deliver twice a week to make sure that you have access to fresh meals. All of our meals come with an eat-by date. We suggest freezing our meals if you would like to make them last longer. If you freeze them, you can simply defrost them in an oven or microwave before consumption.
How do I reheat my meals?
Each meal comes with specific and easy reheating instructions for both oven and microwave reheating. Our containers are microwave and oven safe. All you have to do is remove any sauce containers, then heat and eat! Please remember to remove any plastic tops or sauce containers if putting your meals in an oven to avoid them exploding. You may also heat your meals on a skillet by eating a pan or wok and placing your meal in the pan, heating it slowly until warm.
In case I have allergies, how do I know what ingredients are used in my food?
Each menu item comes with a full ingredient list on our website. In addition, if you have a meal plan you can pick from our list of restrictions, in which case you will never receive a meal that contains such restricted items. However, we do NOT make our meals specifically catered around individual allergies. Therefore, if your allergy is serious, please proceed with caution and don’t hesitate to consult our customer service team at any time with any questions. Note our kitchen is already gluten, dairy, soy, and peanut free.
